Here's a piece for a show on July 8th. It's a portrait of Tony Fernandez. I was always inspired by the Blue Jays games I went to as kid with my family. I used to come home and obsessively draw my favourite players. Not much has changed.

The Nazi invasion of Canada

I wasn't aware of this until I had to do this illustration but apparently the Nazi's had been on Canada soil in WWII to install a weather station. The Canadian goverment didn't even know about it until 1971. Crazy huh? Well they say you learn something new everyday. Here are two different versions of the same illusration. Ra - Ra - Rasputin

Here's a little sketch I did of Rasputin. I've been rocking out a lot to TURISAS. They're a pretty awesome folk / battle metal band from Finland. They do a cover of Rasputin by Boney M... sounds stupid? maybe, but check it out and I bet you'll be hooked.

Suck a bag of dicks!

Wow that is by far the most offensive title for a post I've done yet, but it's in honor of a very funny and sometimes very offensive comedian named Louis CK. Louie is one sick bastard and that's why I love him. This is the second of two experiments using a pencil line drawing and digital "painting" I suppose we can call it. Anyway I highly recommend you check out Louis CK's special "Shameless" if you got the time.

Sketchy bastard

Why hello there. Here are two sketches I did recently. I have been slacking off on the drawing lately. I'm super busy at my day job... i know that's a shitty excuse, but it's the only one I got. Anyway these are pretty loose especially the background colours but I think they have a nice qulaity to them. Hope you like.

Journey...

is not just a sweet band. It is also the name of the sketch I did for the traveling sketchbook. It's inspired by the tradition of the spirit quest and the kids in the hall character Belini. It's a very strange image I know. Till next time...

No Parachute Required

Hey. Great news people. I finally got a group show going. Well Christina finally got one going. It's called No Parachute Required and it's at Gallery 1313 on Queen West in Toronto. The other artists are Rey Ortega, Alexei Vella, Christina Ung, Mike Byers and Kyung Soon Park. It should be a blast. July 24th. If you're in the area come on down.

Here is a caricature of Serge... A guy who I barely know who was leaving Groove (my day job). I had fun doing it despite not knowing Serge. I'm sure he was a swell fellow.

Sneak Peak

Here is a sneak Peak of the kid's book I'm doing with my friend Rey Ortega. It's a delighful tale of a Rhino and his his Oxpecker friend (oxpecker is a bird for those who don't know). I'm working on colouring it in as we speak. Keep posted for more drawings and maybe even a final or two from it.

Hey pretty pretty

I've continued working with inks and watercolour. I love it. I'm trying to mix a more realistic style with my usual graphic approach. Anyway I started a new job with Groove games and I'm in between places right now so I haven't been able to scan any of my new work. Eventually I post them all on my website, but for now this is a little preview of what's to come.
